Lieuwe Shotgun Air Kiteboard is designed for the kitesurfer who wants to take the next step towards more speed, higher jumps, and better control in stronger wind. The board builds on the popular Lieuwe Shotgun, but has been tuned for more performance, more response, and stronger big air characteristics.
Compared to the classic Shotgun, the Shotgun Air offers a more direct feel under your feet. The slightly stiffer flex, straighter outline, and angled fins make it easier to hold your edge, build pressure, and generate a powerful takeoff. The result is a kiteboard that feels fast, stable, and precise when you want to jump higher and ride with more power.
The bottom shape features a single concave with six channels in the tips, giving you extra grip, control, and stability. This is especially noticeable in chop, stronger wind, and during takeoff, where the board helps you hold your edge longer and release more efficiently from the water. At the same time, the Shotgun Air maintains the comfort and forgiving feel Lieuwe is known for, giving you smooth landings and good control throughout your session.
Lieuwe Shotgun Air is the ideal choice for intermediate and advanced riders who want to progress their big air riding without moving straight into an uncompromising high-performance board. It is more aggressive and responsive than the original Shotgun, while still being more comfortable and forgiving than boards such as the Lieuwe Brute and Lieuwe Falcon.
