ION Seek Amp 5/4 Front Zip Men – Warm and Flexible 5/4 mm Wetsuit

The ION Seek Amp 5/4 Front Zip Men is a premium 5/4 mm wetsuit for men designed to deliver excellent warmth, exceptional stretch and unrestricted freedom of movement.

Built for colder water sessions, the Seek Amp combines ION’s highly flexible Max_Flex outer lining with advanced thermal materials and a close-fitting Front Zip construction. The result is a warm, flexible and comfortable wetsuit for kitesurfing, wingfoiling, windsurfing and surfing.

With a recommended temperature range of 7–12°C / 45–54°F, the Seek Amp 5/4 is an excellent choice for cooler conditions and colder months.

Warmth and Thermal Lining

The Seek Amp 5/4 combines several technical linings to provide a strong balance of warmth, flexibility and quick-drying performance.

The front of the wetsuit features Hot_Stuff 2.0, a highly flexible thermal lining that helps retain body heat while maintaining excellent freedom of movement.

On the back, soft and fast-drying Plasma_Plush 2.0 provides additional insulation and protection against wind chill.

Around the shoulders and arms, thin and smooth Silk_Stuff lining maximises stretch in high-movement areas, helping the wetsuit feel natural and unrestricted.

Recommended temperature range: 7–12°C / 45–54°F.

Max_Flex for Maximum Freedom of Movement

The Seek Amp 5/4 is designed for riders who want the warmth of a thicker wetsuit without sacrificing flexibility.

Recycled Max_Flex outer lining is strategically placed around the chest, shoulders and upper body, providing up to 30% more flexibility.

Max_Flex also offers:

Combined with the minimal-panel construction, this gives the wetsuit a soft and responsive feel on the water.

Front Zip for a Secure and Flexible Fit

The compact Front Zip entry provides a close and secure fit around the upper body while avoiding the need for a long zipper across the back.

Sealing silicone prints around the front zipper, arms and legs help reduce water flushing and keep the wetsuit securely in place.

The zipper can be closed with one hand to the right and opened to the left, making the system easy to operate.

Lightweight and Insulating I_Foam

The Seek Amp 5/4 uses low-density I_Foam neoprene, developed to provide excellent thermal insulation while remaining lightweight and flexible.

The material contains oyster shell powder, which replaces part of the conventional material components used in the neoprene construction.

The result is a warm, flexible and lightweight wetsuit suited to demanding watersports in colder conditions.

Durable Glued and Taped Seams

The wetsuit features Glued Blind Stitching (GBS) to improve durability and help reduce water penetration.

Flexible internal taping runs throughout the wetsuit, while reinforced stress points provide additional strength in high-load areas.

Fused edges at the arms and legs add extra durability, comfort and a clean finish.

Comfortable Fit and Excellent Mobility

The Seek Amp 5/4 features seam-free shoulders and a minimal panel design, helping reduce restriction around the upper body.

This is especially beneficial for sports such as kitesurfing, wingfoiling and windsurfing, where the shoulders and arms are constantly in motion.
