Cayman 2000 is a further development of Excalibur 2000.

The differences are the following.

The Cayman 2000 is fitted with the newly developed trigger mechanism which is smaller and more precisely manufactured than the Excalibur 2000. On the Cayman the line release is on the side of the harpoon instead of under the harpoon as on the Excalibur 2000. On the Cayman the line release is made of metal, on the Excalibur the line release is made of plastic. Otherwise, the same thickness of tube, muzzle and elastics have been used on the two harpoons.

So all in all, the Cayman 2000 is an upgrade of the Excalibur 2000, based on the same proven foundation
