O'Neill Hyperfreak Wind 4/3+ Chest Zip wetsuit (2026) is specifically designed for kitesurfers who need maximum warmth, flexibility, and protection against wind chill. Unlike traditional wetsuits made for surfing, this model is built for wind sports, where wind exposure plays a crucial role.
With 4/3+ mm neoprene (extra 0.5 mm thickness), you get enhanced warmth for spring and autumn sessions. The combination of Recycled TechnoButter 3 and TB3X neoprene delivers an ultra-light, flexible, and quick-drying wetsuit that absorbs less water and feels significantly lighter than standard neoprene.
Wind-resistant Wind Series panels are strategically placed in exposed areas to reduce wind chill, allowing you to stay on the water longer. The chest zip closure, combined with a 360° barrier and Covert Drainage System, minimizes water entry and maximizes comfort.
Minimal Seam Design reduces irritation and enhances mobility, while fully taped, glued, and blind-stitched seams ensure durability and water resistance. Krypto Armor knee pads and ankle straps provide added durability and a secure fit—even during heavy crashes.
With 90%+ recycled fibers in the lining, this wetsuit is a more sustainable choice without compromising performance.
