The Rip Curl Flashbomb Hood Vest 0.5mm is a high-quality hooded vest designed for kitesurfing, surfing, and other watersports in cold conditions. Worn as an extra layer under your wetsuit, it is ideal for spring, autumn, and winter sessions where added warmth makes a real difference.
The vest provides effective insulation around the torso and head – the areas where heat loss is greatest – helping to significantly extend your surf season. It features Rip Curl’s renowned E6 Flashliner lining, which is extremely warm, lightweight, and fast-drying, so you avoid putting on a cold, wet vest between sessions.
The integrated hood can be adjusted around the face for optimal fit and comfort. The collar is designed to fold over the wetsuit collar, reducing water entry and improving thermal insulation – perfect for windy and cold days on the water.
