The Epic series has an incredible number of similarities with the suits that you find in the absolute top of wetsuits. This means that it is based on the best technologies and designs, but as a price-friendly alternative. The Epic suit comes in 100% Ultraflex Neoprene, which ensures you an incredibly stretchy suit regardless of thickness, as well as an internal firewall for comfort and warmth. If you want the most 'bang for the buck', Epic is a sure winner for those of you who want a top solid suit in a nice and simple design. The mentioned Ultraflex Neoprene is high-performance neoprene with a super stretchability of 150%.

The neoprene also has an incredibly hard-wearing outer material that ensures you a nice suit for many years. In addition, you will find a Fluidflex Firewall on the inside of the Epic suit, which is made of a thermo-material that helps the suit dry faster and protects you from the cold, so you can decide for yourself when you want to go back to land.

The absolute ideal for a good wetsuit is that good technology is used to make the joints in the wetsuit. This suit uses the Glued & Blindsticted Seams technology. This technology is also used in high-performance wetsuits. It works so that the stitching only partially goes through the neoprene. Next, all seams are glued to reduce water ingress, after which all seams exposed to a lot of pressure are taped.

O'Neill uses Flexloc stitching, which is both stronger and more flexible compared to traditional blindstitch. Should the thread come undone, the assembly will still be intact.
