The air travel-friendly Foil Assist batteries come in a convenient format and feature an average battery runtime of 30 to 60 minutes.
Our lithium high-voltage batteries (LiHV) have been specifically designed for the Duotone Foil Assist system. Please note that you need to connect two batteries to activate the Foil Assist.
To make your foiling experience with the Foil Assist truly limitless, our batteries comply with air travel regulations and have a capacity of 159.6 Wh – just under the 160 Wh limit for air transport*. This means you can take your Foil Assist anywhere and explore completely new spots.
The battery runtime depends on various factors, including your foiling skills, weight, conditions, board size, speed level, and the efficiency of your foil. Typically, the runtime ranges from 30 to 60 minutes. We recommend investing in a second set of batteries so you can fully enjoy your time on the water without significant interruptions.
The batteries can be easily activated with a simple power button. Next to it, you will find four indicator lights that show the charge status of the battery – from empty to the optimal storage level (two or three lights) to fully charged.
Battery Characteristics:
- TYPE: LiPo
- CAPACITY: 7 Ah
- VOLTAGE: 22.8 V × 2

Safety Note: Always store your batteries in a fire-resistant bag when not in use.
* Please note that some airlines may have different watt-hour limits for batteries, so be sure to check this before booking your flights. Approval from the airline must be obtained prior to your journey to ensure a smooth process. You can find more information about traveling with Foil Assist batteries in our Help Center.
