With a higher aspect ratio than the Reach, the Ultra flies faster, responds more sharply, steers more directly, and recovers more dynamically. Shape refinements, including a more swept wingtip profile and enhanced trailing edge tension, result in quicker, more responsive turning. The new high-performance N-U80 material enables a slimmer airframe and a lighter overall kite, with smoother, more responsive steering and improved bar feedback. Developed by North, N-U80 strikes the ideal balance between stiffness and torsional flex. The Reach Ultra combines premium N-U80 with an N-RS3 Triple Ripstop Canopy for optimal strength, lightness, and handling. Its lighter construction also enhances drift, making it your go-to kite for foiling and wave-riding, and enabling fast, reliable relaunches. The Reach Ultra features five bridle points, optimally positioned for better low-end performance and increased depower. The additional bridle point supports the thinner, lighter LE, stabilising the kite’s centre and ensuring a consistent response, faster steering, and a more energetic feel. A new zigzag-shaped single transition panel, contoured to reduce spanwise seam tension, smooths the profile shape and creates a cleaner transition from the leading edge to the canopy, enhancing aerodynamic efficiency.
