The story
Dried dabs - also called bakskuld – are flatfish that are put in brine and then hung on drying lines. The salty wind of the North Sea makes it possible to preserve fish in this way. Long live the West Jutland pantry!
The design was drawn live on Instagram, and here it was mentioned in the comments section that Dabs taste best fried in the pan with a drizzle of lemon, and with a proper bucketful of chive sauce. Bon appetit.
