The Foil Assist mast AL is designed for precise control, smooth glid, and versatile performance, making it ideal for prone, downwind, wake, and light-wind wing foiling.
This 84 cm mast is perfect for prone and downwind foiling, and it's also great for wake foiling on tanker waves and wing foiling in light wind conditions.
The motor pod is integrated into the mast profile, positioned 17 cm below the top plate. This design enhances both the appearance and performance. The mast's internally routed cables provide optimal glid and maneuverability. Its rigid profile, inspired by surf design, offers precise control and quick responsiveness, minimizing drag for more efficient sessions.
Customize your experience with different propellers — choose between plastic or aluminum to achieve your desired setup. You can opt for powerful assistance to ride smaller foils and make sharper turns, or a smoother boost for easy takeoffs and foiling. The folding gear propeller reduces drag for effortless gliding on waves. Its integrated gear system allows the two-blade propeller to unfold instantly, providing a seamless transition as you exit the wave and regain power.
All components of the Foil Assist system are compatible with other mast options, allowing you to expand your setup easily. With a wide selection of fuselage adapters — including options from Duotone, F-One, Armstrong, Gong, Axis, lyft, North, Code, Sab, AFS, and KT — the Foil Assist can be combined with most foil systems. It mounts to the board like a traditional mast.
To maximize battery runtime with your Foil Assist, it's recommended to use a front wing with a surface area of 900 cm2 or larger, along with a board with a minimum volume of 35 L.
